The Game in One Line
Order of the Sinking Star is a massive puzzle adventure with over 1,000 hand-crafted puzzles and four distinct worlds to explore from Jonathan Blow (Braid, The Witness) and Thekla, Inc. — launching October 8, 2026 on PC (Steam & Steam Deck), Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5.
For Each World (Reminder: Choose to Play and Do Content of One World Only):
North: The Hearty Heroes of Hauling
World Focus: Party management, using character-specific puzzle abilities together effectively, and spatial moving logic.
The Mechanics: You control a band of fantasy heroes running a moving company (Warrior, Thief, Wizard, Bard, Cleric, Druid). Each hero possesses a unique puzzle ability to manipulate objects and navigate different puzzles.
Tip to Share: Master each hero's ability and when the heroes do come together, treat your party like a Swiss Army knife. Focus early on mastering what each hero’s unique action does -- like pushing to clear lanes, pulling to move objects, or teleporting past blockades. The trick isn't just knowing what an ability does, but understanding how to combine those distinct actions to set up multi-hero chain reactions.
East: The Mirror Isles
World Focus: Position-swapping, reflection logic, and archipelago navigation. The Mechanics: Centered on a wealthy Trader navigating islands where mirrors instantly swap him and other objects with their reflections Tip to Share: Treat your reflection as an active tool rather than a passive copy. Line up your angles to project yourself onto distant islands, but use spatial awareness to optimize your movement -- stepping back from a mirror gives you the distance needed to teleport much farther.
West: The Promise
World Focus: Light beams, cavern exploration, and exfiltrating gems. The Mechanics: An explorer uses giant gems to power colored light beams, unlocking multiple abilities (such as phasing through walls, smashing boulders, and long-distance teleporting). Tip to Share: Pay close attention to how light beam colors can open up possibilities in different locations in the environment, sometimes far away. Powering up the right combination of beams at the same time is essential for opening blocked paths
Suggested Video Angles

For the breakdown, begin with a simple explanation of the world – but later dive deep into highlight some of the hardest, most complex puzzles in the world and breaking down the exact step-by-step logic required to solve it. Share what you loved about the world you decided to do content on!.
World Speedruns: Racing to solve an entire world’s demo puzzles as fast as possible, demonstrating optimized pathfinding and lightning-fast execution.
Brain-Melter Challenge Runs: Highlighting the absolute hardest optional puzzles, showcasing the game's difficulty, funny fails, and eventual "aha!" breakthrough moments.
